(July 21, 2023) – The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) has awarded Mid-States Material Handling and Fabrication $85,500 for an expansion project located at their corporate headquarters in Nevada, Iowa.
This 15,000 square foot expansion project will include a two-story office as well as an additional 7,000 square feet of new manufacturing space and new manufacturing equipment that will be installed into existing/new manufacturing spaces. Once completed, the additional space will allow for another 29 offices and three conference rooms to support projected growth over the next 5-10 years. This project is expected to create nine high paying career jobs within the company and the community.

Mid-States Material Handling and Fabrication, Inc (MMF), is an Iowa based metal manufacturing and fabrication facility that has been in business since 2012. MMF builds and distributes its own line of grain material handling products and structural support towers and catwalks for the Ag Sector serving customers like COOP grain elevators, ethanol plants, soy crush processing plants, food processing facilities, livestock feed mills and pet food processing facilities. MMF also serves the commercial building industry with apartment balconies, stairs and other custom metal fabrication items.
