Loni Pringnitz

What is your hometown? Osage, Iowa

Occupation and company you work for? VP of Development at Story County Medical Center

Do you have a fun fact about your business or something you’re doing at your business that you’re excited about? Story Medical will have a Mobile Clinic starting in late summer 2021 that will travel to rural, underserved communities throughout Story County.

The mobile clinic features everything that a standard exam room does. Our providers will be able to provide care for non-emergency illness and injuries, routine care like physicals and well-child checks, follow-up appointments, immunizations, and more. Our clinic team is excited to “hit the road” as it represents a big step forward in increasing our reach to residents of the Story Medical service area. Our Occupational Health team will also use the mobile clinic to offer a variety of services directly to employers at their worksites.

What is your role with the NEDC, and how long have you been involved? I’m currently serving as Marketing Chair. I have been involved with NEDC for about two years.

Why do you continue to be involved in local economic development? Why is this an important issue for you? I want to see Nevada grow and prosper and feel there are exciting things ahead for Nevada and Story County. Economic development is needed for a community to grow and thrive.
