Steve Simon, CEO of South Story Bank & Trust, based in Huxley, IA is pleased to announce we’re expanding our footprint with our 6th location in Nevada, IA. Our new office will be located at 1601 South B Avenue, Suite 3, sharing space with Midwest Insurance Corporation and Tom Geist of Edward Jones.
Simon states, “This is an exciting expansion for South Story Bank & Trust. Nevada’s welcoming atmosphere for both new and expanding businesses, led by the Nevada Economic Development Council and Main Street Nevada organizations, made this an easy decision for us. Alongside the city’s recent investments into both their school facilities and the infrastructure project downtown, shows us the community’s commitment to smart, sustainable growth. We can’t wait to open our doors to the people and businesses of Nevada and Eastern Story County.”
A familiar face in town, Michelle Fullerton, will lead the charge introducing our bank to the community. Michelle brings with her 22 years of experience, most of those years spent in Nevada serving clients. She and her husband Joe have called Nevada home for more than 20 years and are proud parents of four adult children. “I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to serve clients here again.”
Bonnie Brown will be joining Michelle in Nevada as our Home Mortgage Officer. Bonnie has been a top performing lender for 6 years in Story County. Serving clients with the highest level of service and making their questions her priority. Bonnie prides herself on truly getting to know her clients to personalize their experiences. Bonnie and her husband, Ryan have three grown children and two adorable granddaughters.
